Cabot Quilters Celebrates 25 Years!!
On February 17th, 2009 the Cabot Quilters’ Guild celebrated their 25th Anniversary.
The celebration was held in lieu of the February meeting. Members were dressed in black and silver and the room was decorated the same. The room was also decorated with the member’s beautiful wall hangings.
The husbands of four of the executive members were formally dressed in white shirts and black bowties and graciously hosted the party.
One of our members, P. Cramm, rewrote the song “Those were the Days” and played the keyboard as the Executive members (choir) performed the special rendition for the CQG members.
Commemorative pins were presented to everyone and an option to purchase a commemorative mug. Prizes were drawn throughout the night with a special door prize drawn at the end of the evening that was won by L. Shortall.
A good time was had by all. See pictures below.
